Dakota looked around and sighed. She was on duty tonight looking for some criminal or something. Her office called her and told her she was going on undercover duty. She sighed again and looked around walking up to the bar to get a drink. She might as well have fun if she was going to be here all night. Though she wouldn't get drunk a couple of drinks to loosen her up wouldn't be to much. She looked up as someone sat next to her..

When Lyra drove into town on her harley, she had not expected to spend any time at a bar in the city. She owned her own bar back in Celestial Springs, so why would she want to spend money at a bar when she could drink for free? Unfortunately, a bad meeting with a prospective MC ally made her want to drink. Normally the President of a biker gang wouldn't be alone in a city of other outlaws looking for a piece of their town and their gang, and in fact she had rode into town with a couple of other members, but needing time alone to drink away the stress she told them to do their own thing and left her leather jacket marking her particular club in the locked bin behind the seat of her bike as she walked in and sat at the bar.
"Beer." she said simply when the bartender approached her. She looked to the person beside her. "Evenin." she said with a nod. "You live in the city?" she asked.
Dakota looked up as a woman sat down next to her she sighed again. Was she expected to make conversation now? When the woman spoke she mentally prepared herself. It's not that she didnt like talking to people, in fact she quite enjoyed it. But for whatever reason she disliked the idea of talking tonight.
She held up her beer and signaled the bartender to get her another. "Hey." she replied, taking the beer from the bartender and turning to the woman next to her. "No, I'm here for business." she said, taking a deep drink she didnt want to tell this woman she knew nothing about that she was FBI. Most people around these parts didnt take to well go agents. She put it down and looked back at the woman. "I'm Dakota." she said.

Lyra took a drink of her beer and than looked back over to Dakota. "Business? What a coincidence, so am I." she said taking another drink of her beer. "So you're not from the city, where are you from then?" she asked making small talk. "I'm from the little town just down the main road, Celestial Springs. Ever been?" she asked.
She smiled when the girl introduced herself. "Dakota? Beautiful name." she said. "My name is Lyra." she said. She was glad Dakota hadn't said her last name and hoped she wouldn't ask because Lyra would have to make up one. If the girl was a cop or agent or connected to one of the MCs in the city she would recognize Lyra's name most likely with the current reputation not being so great with the Laughing Death MC and she just wanted to let loose and have a nice little conversation without a bunch of problems blowing her way.
Dakota nodded. She may as well engage her in conversation she may know something about the people she’s looking for. “What kind of business?”she asked, taking another drink of her beer. She kind of wanted to make this one last because she didn’t want to have too many on the job. One or two were ok but more then that wasn’t. Her boss told her to go easy on the alcohol tonight. She looked a bit surprised when she said she was from the town of Celestial Springs that is where she was from.“Really, me too.” She said trying to sound not that interested. “Yeah, Lyra is a beautiful name too.” She said smiling.

When Dakota asked what kind of business that Lyra was in she took a good drink of her beer before answering. "Well, I own a bar back in C.S. so I am working on getting contracts from liquor suppliers in town here." she said. She was telling the truth, she did own a bar in Celestial Springs, one that she inherited. However, she was really in town to make alliances and get back into the illegal goings on that The Laughing Death had been a part of in order to make money. But she obviously could not admit to that in case anyone who might cause problems for her and the club would be listening.
She smiled, "No kidding?" she said. She wondered if this would be trouble for her. Most people in Celestial Springs at least knew of the Laughing Death MC, and especially her father's name, Richard Lucine. Though she was still relatively unknown in town as she had kept to herself for a long time so she wouldn't be easily recognizeable. Now she was really glad she hadn't mentioned her last name. "Thank you." she said with a smile when Dakota complimented her name. "You still live in Celestial Springs?" she asked.
Dakota nodded. “A bar seems like a interesting place to own.” She said, she couldn’t necessarily tell the woman sitting next to her what kind of job she had. She knew that some bars down in C.S. were not the best of places. She wondered if this is the woman she was scoping out for. It’s possible she didn’t know if it was a man or woman.
She nodded. “Yeah.” She wondered what kind of bar that she worked in. She knew that a couple motorcycle gangs lived down there. “Yeah I do on the outskirts.” She smiled.

Lyra had forgotten that Dakota was also from Celestial Springs. There were only a handful of bars there so she realized she might have just given herself away. Ah well, even if the girl figured it out it wasn't like she was doing anything illegal now. She smiled. "Well, maybe in the city, but not in a small town. Pretty boring actually." she said with a shrug. "I inherited the bar, or else I would never have put a bar in a small town." she said. "On the outskirts huh?" she said before taking another drink of her beer.
"So what do you do? I'm assuming you work in the city?" she asked curiously.
Dakota was from a small town and had to agree with Lyra. It was boring, mostly why she does the job she does. “Yeah small towns are pretty boring.” She laughed. “Yeah pretty boring there too, though it’s bigger than my hometown is. Which is why I moved there.” She laughed. She nodded. “Yeah, I work in a lot of different places around here.” She said, she hoped that didn’t give too much away. She sighed.

((OOC: lol it's cool. I will have different variations of the same color most of the time.))
Lyra smiled. "I can understand that." she said. "Honestly, I love Celestial Springs. I was born and raised there and it's where everyone I know is. But I have thought many, many times about leaving. Just can't bring myself to do it." Of course, it didn't help that she had a bar and a biker gang to take care of, both of which having been passed down to her.
"That must be rough." she said about working in a lot of different places around the area. "Not having to go to the same place every day is fine once in awhile but seems like it'd be a pain after awhile. Do you like what you do at least?" she asked.
Dakota smiled. “Yeah I love it too.” She said, “Even though I didn’t grow up here, I know just about everyone because it’s so small.” She said, though she couldn’t place the woman sitting next to her. Maybe she didn’t go out to much. But then again Dakota herself was hardly ever in town because of her job. “I don’t think I could leave my home either.” She smiled.
“It can be.” She said, sighing, though she did really love what she did. It was better than being some paper pusher sitting at a desk everyday. And she even got to carry a gun. That was pretty much the best thing ever. She nodded. “I do, I love my job!” she said smiling.

Lyra chuckled. "I mean, being born and raised there sometimes it feels like I'm a big fish in a small pond, but it's like a comfortable small pond. Just big enough to flap my gills you know what I mean?" she asked. She smiled, "Well I'm glad you like living in our small town, it's not a bad place. And what trouble comes doesn't last for long." she said with a shrug.
She smiled. "Well, you seem to really enjoy it so that really helps to keep you going I bet." she said. "That's how I am with my job too I think. Sometimes it is a hassle and I wonder why I just don't try something new, and other times I am having fun and enjoying it." she said. She enjoyed running the bar, but running the biker gang had become her passion. As dangerous as it often was, she often had fun fighting and running with the gang. She smiled. "You married? Or have kids?" she asked making conversation.
“Yeah, I know.” She said, smiling. “I feel kind the same way.” She chuckled; she took another drink of her beer and put it down. She would have one more then that would be it. She shouldn’t drink on the job but she was having too much fun. She nodded. That was one of the reasons she had to work in more places than just the place she lived.
She nodded. “Yeah it does. I love what I do.” She said, not actually saying what she does, in case she was sitting close to who she was looking for. She nodded again. “I don’t think I would like to do anything else. “She said smiling. She looked away for a second when Lyra asked what her next question. “I have a child but she was adopted when she was born.” She said not really wanting to get into why. “I’m not married, and I don’t have a boyfriend right now.” She said, “How about you?”
